We love dentistry and take pride in doing it well: with rigour, honesty and fairness towards everyone who comes to us. We believe continuous learning is what allows us to maintain, year after year, the standard of quality our patients are used to.
Our story
PR Médicos opened its doors on 2 September 1998. In more than 28 years in practice, we have seen more than 200,000 patients.
We have grown organically. Our clinical practice and our structure have expanded on the strength of the quality of our work, what we have learned over the years and the relationship of trust we have built with our patients.
How we work
We have three principles: quality, attention and planning.
Before we treat, we plan. At the assessment appointment we take time to examine, to listen and to explain in plain language what we have found and the possible options, with the advantages, limitations and risks of each.
That is why it is normal for no treatment to be carried out at a first appointment. Some people are surprised and ask: “So you’re not going to do anything?” For us, thinking, talking and deciding together are already part of the treatment. And intervening is not always the best option: in many cases, the most appropriate thing is to monitor.
We only go ahead with your consent, once the treatment plan has been explained and all your questions have been answered.
Our facilities
The two clinics have eight treatment rooms and a team of nine dental nurses, who support the dentists and dental hygienists at every appointment.
We use a digital workflow, from diagnosis to treatment:
- Intraoral scanner, for digital impressions instead of traditional moulds, whenever appropriate.
- Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and panoramic X-ray, for diagnosis and planning.
- Magnification systems in clinical work.
- Oral hygiene following the GBT protocol (Guided Biofilm Therapy), using air-polishing technology.
- Digital planning and CAD/CAM software, working with laboratories that use a fully digital workflow.
We use established materials, adhesives and composites, chosen on the basis of clinical evidence.
